MORE MIXED MEDIA FUN

I'm having so much fun

with the

'She Art Workshop'

being taught by

Christy Tomlinson.

I just wish I had more

time. I just finished

my second 'She Girl'.

and...here she is!

 I really like this one.

Now, I'm wishing Spring was here!

My first try at a hat (and

her hair ...a braid)

I decided to use paper

for the hat

instead of painting it.

For some reason, the

polka dot hat just seemed to work!

 I worked with the flowers a lot.

I tried two times with different

flowers and finally found these in

my stash. Fabric and buttons!

Love it!

 And ....a very appropriate

'She Saying' ...

"She felt the sun shine down"

FYI ...Christy is starting up

a new class; so be sure to

MIXED MEDIA HAPPINESS

I am so excited!

I made my first piece

of 'mixed media' art.

I'm taking an on-line class

from Christy Tomlinson
called
THE SHE ART WORKSHOP! 

I just have to say ...
it's a wonderful class
and Christy makes it so
easy to follow along and
understand the art
of 'mixed media'.


We had our first lesson this
week and I've created my
first piece of 'real' art work.

Isn't she cute?
I love it!

We learned how to
apply the background layers.
And how to make our
little 'She Art'.

We also learned about
shading, outlining and
drawing her hair.

I also decided to add
little wings and ...

a little saying ...
'SPREAD YOUR WINGS AND FLY'

Right now, she's sitting
on a side table in my
living room!
Not quite sure where she
will live ...but, for now
I can see her every time
I walk out the front door!

PURE HAPPINESS!
