WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

That's a good question, even
I'm not sure of the answer.

I have been wandering, I
have been discovering, I have
been experimenting, I have
been contemplating things!!!

For awhile now, my DH keeps
telling me that I need to find
direction ....something to
focus on!!!

So ....I decided to try to get
my ETSY shop up and running again.
But, with what??? I decided I would
concentrate on sewing tote bags and
a few household items.

Fast forward to now ....
I have a few items made, but have
not listed anything up for sale.
I just can't get my heart into it!

I have been doodling with my art and
taking a class here and there.

I've picked up my knitting again!
I have so many UFO's to finish and
a closet full of yarn to work with.

I've done a bit of paper art ...
just a few cards here and there!

BUT ....I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO FOCUS!

There is just so much buzzing in my head.
I can understand why DH wants me to focus ...
but, I just can't seem to do it!!!
NOPE ....JUST CAN'T SEEM TO DO IT!!!

So for now
....I will keep working on my Etsy Shop
....try to get a bit of knitting finished
....and doodle a bit here and there

AT LEAST UNTIL.....
I CAN FOCUS!!!

OR....
I MAY JUST SIT
OUTSIDE ALL SUMMER
AND 'FOCUS'  ON ALL THE
THINGS I WILL DO LATER!!!

IS THIS MY ART STYLE??

I've been working a bit
on different art styles ...
trying to find my style ...
trying to find my niche ...

I've done a lot of different things ...

I do a bit of mixed media!

Which I really enjoy doing!

I work with Artist Trading Cards!

Which I also enjoy working with!

I play with Photoshop!

Which I also enjoy working with!

BUT ....

I think my most favorite art medium
has to be ....

DOODLING!!!

I finished her today and
I think she is adorable!!!

I'm not sure if I have found my
style ....but, I sure enjoy
DOODLING!

A LITTLE OF THIS, AND A LITTLE OF THAT....

Gosh, where have I been?
I can't believe it's been since
February that I've posted.

The time has just gotten away
from me. Here are a few
of the things I've been working on.

Finished a pair of wrist warmers
for my daughter. This is a
simple pattern from Lion Brand,
and I tried their yarn called
'Amazing'.

I finally finished this sweater
for ME! I swear it's been on my
needles for two winters!

I've been reading a bit!

Found these gorgeous flowers at
my local TJMaxx and just had to
have them...

I had the perfect container
sitting at home in need of
an arrangement.

I read a bit more!

Doodled a bit! This is my latest
in progress doodle art!

And, I've been cleaning and
organizing and de-stashing!
The house is just about organized.
A project that's been in the works
for about a year and half!!!

I'll show a bit of my organizing
a little later!

Well, that's about it for me!
Just sharing a little of what I've been
up too since my last post!

EASY-PEASY VALENTINE CARDS

Just wanted to share a quick
Valentine Card you can make
today to give to someone
special.

 First select a paper design
that you like, and I used
white pre-made envelopes.
(Paper By Heart Attack)

Next, I cut the design
paper to fit the front of the
card. Then added a simple
white doily and a Valentine
Bingo Card.

These cute bingo cards are
by Jenni Bowlin.

Next, I found these cute
Teabag Wrappers via
Creature Comforts Blog
(free downloadable)
and printed them out on
my computer.

I cut the Teabag Wrappers out
and sewed them with my sewing
machine leaving the top open.
I attached baker's twine
to a tea bag and used the little
heart that comes with the
Teabag Wrapper printout as
the little tea tag.
Once these were put together,
I adhered them to the inside of
the card!

I used this delectable tea
from The Republic of Tea
which I found at World Market!

Hope you enjoyed ...
I made five cards in just
about 30 minutes once
I had everything assembled and
ready to go!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!

FOR THE LOVE OF NORO YARN

I SIMPLY ADORE NORO YARN!

I believe it's the most beautiful yarn
to work with. As you work on your
project all of these gorgeous colors
unfold before your eyes.

And, there are different types of
Noro Yarns to delight anyone's
knitting or crochet fancies.

This is an adorable shrug that I
knit for my daughter.

Cuteness!

I also love to make just
simple granny square's with
Noro Yarn. This blanket was done
in one colorway, about 9 skeins.

This granny was done in
about 9/10 different colorways!

And, this wrap may just have to
be one of my next projects!
