OH ....BABY!
If you remember from my last post
I was working on a baby gift
for my niece.
The baby was delivered by
C-Section on August 20th.
We are so excited ...it
was a little girl!
(I don't have any photo's of her yet!)
But, in the meantime ...I thought
I'd share my finished gift!
I crocheted this adorable Bath Set.
It consists of a 100 % cotton hooded
bath towel and two little washcloth's.
The bath towel is about 25" x 25", and
each little washcloth is about 8".
I love how it turned out. The
crochet stitch makes it very
thick and soft. Perfect for
baby's bath time.
And, of course ...
since I now know it's a girl!
I had to make this ....
A little brown beanie with
a huge pink flower!
(Since I don't have a little baby
at home ...I used the next best thing!)
Don't you just love this pink flower?
It just shouts 'LITTLE GIRL'!

Finally ...it's all in the details!
The wrapping!
I always try to use a see-through
cupcake box if I can when
wrapping up baby gifts.
Using a cupcake box makes a
great way to wrap gifts!
I adorned it with the perfect
little stick on design!
And, a nice satin ribbon.
brown envelope with a little
message tucked inside!

I hope you've enjoyed seeing my
baby gift. I know there were lots
of pic's, but I just couldn't help it!
It turned out so cute!
Now ...if I can just get my
hands on a photo or two of
the new baby!
How perfect! My dollies need a little beanie! The flower is the perfect touch! What a wonderful gift! You are so talented!
ReplyDeleteOh, Mommy is going to LOVE it! I know how I felt opening a beautiful gift like this from you (actually quite a few baby gifts from you!!) and I went bonkers! It's so beautiful it's going to be hard to open. And when it's open... WOW! You do beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet gift...
ReplyDeleteand the wrapping is as precious as the pretties inside!
I want a cute hat with a pretty pink rose on it!
:-)
Enjoy your day

Alice, I never thought of crocheting a hooded towel. What a great idea! The way you wrapped it up in the cupcake box is an idea I will have to "borrow" from you. What an absolutely adorable present and presentation!
ReplyDeleteAlice, this is all so beautiful...a treasured gift for your neice. I love the hat as well...and loved how you had to get creative with your model. : )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work as always.
