Been visiting....

Where have I been? Why,visiting of course! I've not been posting for awhile, I had company visiting and we have been very busy seeing the sights and second hand shopping! My two sister-in-laws were visiting from Minnesota and we were just having way too much fun, especially visiting the local second hand shops for lots of great finds. We spent a day in downtown Salt Lake City visiting points of interests and best of all....we had the most wonderful afternoon tea at the best ever tea house. The tea house is the cutiest and very quaint, it's called the Beehive Tea Room. We had our tea served in the library room (I think that's the one)...anyway, it was like having tea with your best friends in an old parlor. We didn't even know we were in a place of business. It was the most fun and the tea...delicious! We also took a drive through the Uinta National Forest, through the Heber Valley and then through Park City on the loop home, stopping at Robert Redford's Sundance Ski Resort in the Uinta Forest. The following pictures are of our ride through the National Forest and at Sundance. Hope you enjoy....and happy Monday to all!

This photo was taken on the road through the Uinta National Forest!
Breathtaking, don't you think?

A forest path located at the Sundance Resort. Though most of the fall colors are gone at the higher elevations, we were able to capture a bit of the fall colors left.

A small creek was found deep within the forest!

Sundance is a very small artsy resort. It has a lot of nooks where you can find the most beautiful natural art - this Indian statue was located near some of the art buildings. I found looking at him so soothing and relaxing. I could have just sat there all day, just being in my own little world!

Another view of the creek! So soothing, don't you think?

Last, but not least.....Fall Foliage! Soon this scene will be full a Winter Snow!

  6. These photos are just beautiful! And the tea room sounds wonderful! There is nothing like having tea with women you love. Looks like you've been having a great time! I'm so happy for you for getting out of California! (Although I do miss it sometimes, I don't miss the thought of the smokey air right now!)
