The Blogger's Craft Challenge

THE BLOGGER CRAFT CHALLENGE
Hosted by beachyscapecodcupboard.blogspot.com
On October 17th, Beachys Cape Cod Cupboard offered a crafters challenge. We were to take the photo shown above and create something from it. It could be anything that we wanted, the idea was to create anything and then on November 1st to post it on your blog for others to see. Over at Beachys, she has a list on her side bar of those who are participating. If you pop on over to her blog you can take a look at all the wonderful creations from the other bloggers who are participating. Here is my creation....I hope you enjoy my "Memory Heart".

I created what I call my 'memory heart'. I made the heart using old wool felt, then embellished it with the bloggers challenge picture. The idea of the 'memory heart' is to display it somewhere in a special spot where I can see it and enjoy past memories. I can add special photo's, tokens or just a note to my 'memory heart' that might remind me of a special memory.

I used small wool flowers to embellish, along with a vintage tag and a button or two. I made the heart using old wool felt and then attached it to an wooden candlestick.

I added ribbon and bows, as well as attaching a few old keys for embellishment.

I also added a vintage tag using old letters and the words ....'memories' and 'friends'.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my creation for the 'bloggers craft challenge' and a big thank you to Beachys Cap Cod Cupboard for coming up with such a wonderful and creative idea.
