LITTLE MISS SOPHIE, Part Two

LITTLE MISS SOPHIE IS HOME!

Little Miss Sophie is home resting after her
ordeal at the local vet's office.
She was spayed, shot's updated,
blood work taken, heart worm testing,
nails clipped and a micro chip was implanted.
Needless to say she is quite happy to
be back home again.
Though she is a little tired and a little sore,
she will shortly be back to her spunky self!
In the meantime ....I was a wreck!
Little Miss Sophie and I have not really
ever been apart and having her gone all
day yesterday and all night ...it was rough
going for me! So to keep calm ....
I kept my hands busy!

...working on a new project!
My niece is due on Thursday the 20th!
So, I started a cotton hooded bath towel
for the new little baby.
We don't know if it's a boy or girl,
so I'm crocheting it in a wonderful yellow.
Once the baby is here ...I'll add the
corresponding color on the edge!
Either pink or blue! I'll also make up
a couple of baby washcloth's to add to the set!
(You ask ...How do I know for sure the
baby will be here on the 20th?)
C-SECTION!

I love the way this stitch is working up.
It's so thick and soft!
It's quite easy and works up quickly.
I'll post the finished piece in a day or two!
*****
For now ....I'm so glad
Miss Sophie is home again!
Resting comfortably!

Wow! I didn't know you could crochet a towel! This is beautiful, and I love your idea of adding trim after the birth. And since it's the 20th, congratulations!!!
